A weekend away with the Girls is always a good idea!! So we headed
off to Liverpool, only 40mins on a plane! Below is some of the things we
did!
We stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City
Centre, which had lovely rooms and right beside the Marina. We could walk to
all the shops and restaurants as well as the touristy spots.

Liverpool Cathedral £5.50-Attractions Ticket 10am to 5pm Spot all of Liverpool’s great landmarks as you take in
a breathtaking 360˚ view from the rooftop of the highest Cathedral in the UK
- 152m (500ft) above sea level, two lifts and 108 stairs and on
a good clear day you will see the Blackpool Tower! The massive Vestey
Tower, named after its benefactors the Vestey family, has a floor to top height of 101m (331ft). This
Cathedral is the largest in the country and the second largest Anglican
Cathedral in the world! You can climb to the top. (Fun Fact: It was designed by
Giles Gilbert Scott who also designed the infamous red telephone boxes of
England.)
- Beetles Tour @ Beetles Magical Mystery Tour £16.95 The tour includes Ringoland, George Harrison's birthplace and childhood home, Penny Lane, St Peter's Church where John and Paul first met, John Lennon's childhood home, Strawberry Field, Paul McCartney's childhood home, schools and colleges plus many more places of interest along the way.

- While we ate in lots of
places and went to many bars, our favourite place to spend the night was in a
bar called 'Revolution'. It had a menu of over 50
different types of shots! We had so much fun testing and trying them out!
